"Up From Here" is a new two song release by Birmingham Alabama based drummer/writer/producer, James 'PJ' Spraggins. While holding down the drum chair for several chart topping jazz artists (most notable Kim Scott), PJ has contiuned to release original music to add to his growing cataloague.

His latest offering "Up From Here" consists of two songs that are sure to be instant classics in the world of Jazz and inspirational music. The title track features performance collaborations with Jazz guitarist Eric Essix and keyboardist/producer Greg Manning. The second track is the soul stirring "Grace & Mercy" which features saxophonist, Dr. Melvin Butler, of the Brian Blade Fellowship. Contributing musicians for this project include:
